CGRundertow SUPER MARIO 3D LAND for Nintendo 3DS Video Game Review Video

Super Mario 3D Land review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Super Mario 3D Land from Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS. This isn't the first time Mario has proven a console's potential. This isn't the first time he's made every other game on a system seem like it wasn't even trying. This isn't the first spectacular Mario game, but it does feel special. Super Mario 3D Land isn't the best Mario game of all time, but we've got a flower and three mushrooms that say it's pretty close. The first major 3DS game developed by Nintendo that isn't a remake of a game from the last millennium, Super Mario 3D Land is an incredible release if only for the design expertise it displays. The genius of Super Mario 3D Land is its balance and how it incorporates nearly three decades of the plumber's evolution into a single experience...delightfully familiar, yet viewed from a whole new perspective. This video review features video gameplay footage of Super Mario 3D Land for the Nintendo 3DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

i must admid that this is possible be a great game wich i just can's deny. however i rather turn off the stereoscopic 3d becouse i get eye straines. and why dit nintendo not allowed player to also use the d pad if they like it, besides the circle pad, they just forced gamers just to get used? to with it,just like they dit with the n64 controller,it has the d pad but most games like mario64 and even yoshi story don't support it,cuzz they forced gamers to get used with the c stick, that,s stupid!!!

would you enjoy this game as much if I told you this game is? really mario land 4?

As intriguing as ...
As intriguing as this game looks, between the Tanooki suit not having its statue power (which just makes it the raccoon ears and tail from Mario 3) and the ever present fact that I can't look at the 3DS with the slider up for more than? ten seconds without getting a splitting headache, it just hasn't sold me on getting a 3DS. Close, but not quite.

I totally agree. ...
I totally agree. The controls weren't as smooth as the Galaxy games, there's a whopping ONE new powerup, and the game is too repetetive. AND SHORT! Like how can a 7 hour game get repetetive? Like Nintendo just gets lazy, recycle older levels but add a cosmic Mario or Time limit. And the bosses were just.. PATHETIC! People tell me that I shouldn't expect too? much from a handheld, but when it's the same price as Galaxy 2, you can't expect anything less.

This game alone can ...
This game alone can easily justify buying a? 3DS

this review totally ...
this review totally nails? it!

When I first played ...
When I first played Legend of Zelda and Mario's first ever games I never really liked them? until I took some time to play, retry and understand them.

I tried the ...
I tried the gamecube once and? LOVED it. Sadly i got a ps2 before that...

to be honest this ...
to be honest this game sucks in comparision to other Mario games this game is nowhere near as good as Super Mario Galaxy or Super Mario Galaxy 2,Super Mario 64,Super Mario? Bros 3 and many more games.Im not ranting that the games sucks but in my opinon it was a disapointment to ME and it did not live up to it's name fully. MY OPINON NOT YOUR OPINON. (sorry for any bad spelling)

Am I? the only ...
Am I? the only person in the world that enjoyed this game more than the galaxy games?

I think best 3DS game for Funess and? Graphics are Starfox 64 3DS

this game feels ...
this game feels like Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario 64, and Super Mario Bros. 3 all squished into 1? amazing game montage :)

That seems to be a ...
That seems to be a problem with a sadly noticable portion of gamers. A friend of mine keeps saying how he dislikes Mario games because they are childish, reguardless of? how good they may be. He even told me he'd consider playing a Mario game based on GTA standards.... But what gamers need to know is, that you don't need, super-realistic graphics, bloodshed, or boobs to have fun in a game, and Mario is a constant reminder of that.

The DS had its ...
The DS had its third party titles that was amazing though like? Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days, Final Fantasy III, Crono Trigger, Dragon Quest IX etc.

Zelda Ocarina of ...
Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D? that one released almost a half? year before SM3DL

Well if Nintendo ...
Well if Nintendo made Mario in the spirit by which they made the first Super Mario Bros trilogy and arguably Yoshi's? Island and as much as primitive early 3d technology allowed, SM64, then it would have the thematic appeal of 'plumber in wonderland' pop-styled adventure to supplement the unquestionably solid and flourishing gameplay to make the game an easy sell to anyone. What I will say 4 SM3DL's continuation of almost self deprecating modern Mario thematics is that it's very fun to time trial

A certain friend of ...
A certain friend of mine who is an otaku but is biased for? Sony blasted Nintendo for? making "another childish game" with New Super Mario Bros and now Super Mario 3D Land. I should say he's foolish for that act and even with explanations, he simply cannot realize that Mario games have often been designed to provide gamers of varying ages a fun platforming experience. Too bad some people just cannot look beyond the "cutesy" art of a game to realize its true purpose and appeal.

Nintendo: Thriving with Diversity
In an industry where changing tastes and new technology regularly drive companies to bankruptcy, the enduring stamina of Nintendo video gaming and its place in popular culture is noteworthy.

What Does It Mean to be a Gamer?
In the 1970’s table top RPG (role playing games) hit the nation. In the 1980’s video games gained a foothold in our homes. These two groups of gamers have merged in the current millennia and created a gamer culture that to outsiders seems to revolve around the roll of dice, the glow of the computer screen and copious amounts of caffeine.
